Our Staff
Principal Partner / President Margaret Kennedy has been involved in the real estate and mortgage industry for over 20 years, having worked in law offices as well as owning a title and mortgage company in addition to an at home closing company. She has seen the many problems associated with the industry and is able to guide our company down the path of efficiency and customer service. Margaret has established a working environment that prioritizes relationships, utilizes teamwork and emphasizes doing what's best for the client. With that in mind, Twin Palms Mortgage focuses on educating clients when needed, which in turn reduces the stress associated with the process. Her goal is to help our clients obtain their mortgage needs as a part of the process of meeting financial goals. Twin Palms Mortgage prides itself on providing personalized service.
Margaret is the Vice-President for the Sun Coast Chapter of the Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers for the 2006-07 year. She is also a Partner volunteer for the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.
Senior Partner / Vice President Jason Kennedy is the Director of Personnel and manages all administrative details at Twin Palms Mortgage. His responsibilities include the day to day operations of our offices, regulatory compliance and research. Jason's specialized experience with loan closings provides customers with the knowledge they need to be educated consumers. With nearly two decades in the customer service field Jason looks forward to providing the same level of outstanding service he has learned is the only way to operate a successful business venture.
Partner Currie Gauvreau oversees our Commercial Division as well as Marketing and Business Development. He has been a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1991 and lives with his wife and two energetic sons. He holds a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Westfield State College, as well as a Masters Degree in Criminology/Public Administration from the University of South Florida. Currie had been in Law Enforcement for 17 years prior to joining Twin Palms and has a background in finance, having worked as a Financial Consultant for Smith Barney. Currently, Currie spends time teaching at local colleges and draws upon his experience and education to help people use home ownership as a tool to secure their financial future.
Partner Todd Fairly handles all Promotions and Advertising for Twin Palms Mortgage, as well as acting as the IT expert of our family. He has been a resident of Sarasota since 1992, living with his wife and three children. He completed his education at the University of South Alabama and holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology. Todd has worked for the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office since 1995 and is currently a Sergeant in the patrol division. His desire to take on a new challenge brought him to the mortgage business.
